I found the Modenese, Franchini Coat of Arms at the site of the Biblioteca estense universitaria of Modena. The site is a terrific resource for people studying that that region because it contains all the coats of arms (“stemmi” in Italian) of the great families of Modena. The information comes from Giuseppe Franchini’s “Cronaca modonese dell’anno 1796″.
